I was brewing a cup of tea at work, and thought it looked just awesome. Yes, that is my computer with an HTTP server up in the background.
In other news, the people at Samsung/Google decided to use ISO8601 to name pictures taken with the camera, which is something I heartily approve of. Instead of using some stupid serial number, they name it with when it was taken, in a way that sorts alphabetically in chronological order.
An idea I had for a park, probably inspired by the Irma & Irma intersections by my nephews school.
Ok, so the park is "Drive Park".
The main east-west surface street is "Park Drive"
There is a freeway going north-south that is "Drive Parkway"
Thus, you would take Drive Parkway to the Park Drive exit to get to Drive Park. Where there is a driving range...

Yay, mold. I am in Portland, OR.
New camera, I got a Sigma DP1x to have a "large sensor compact". Eventually I will get a Leica M9 or whatever it is when I finally get one.

For April Fools, I wore a tie to work. Since nobody else in the office wears a tie, I stood out.
I spent the week traveling. First I went to Orlando for a conference, and then I was in Snowmass Village to talk to some people from the VA.
Which is why I ended up in Snowmass Village with mosquito bites all over my arms even though I live in Westminster.

Newest standing against a tree
Yes, I am calling my newest bike "Newest". It is his name. New tires, 700x23 Michelin Kromion.
From my apartment to the 16th street mall and back was about 50 miles on the route I took, which was more bike path than road. The paths along I-76 and I-25 are really cool, until you hit Commons Park near Coors Field.
This is my Newest road bike. (I only have one, it is named the "Newest.")

Carbon fork, nice handlebar, adjustable handlebar stem. The rest is pretty much standard low-end road bike stuff. Now I just have to ride it into the ground.
This bike is almost half the weight of my Schwinn, which I was thinking of using for training.
